Paul Cezanne

In preparation for The DRES annual art show, students are learning about famous artists. Second grade is studying the work of Paul Cezanne. Students practiced creating a light source (shading) using water colors. We also discussed pattern and the basic characteristics of impressionist art. Bellow is an example of Cezanne's work and a sneak peak of some student work! I'm very proud of their shadows and highlights!
